Rainy Season Advisory

The rainy season is upon us! Please respect the trails and features to ensure their sustainability. Please continue to follow the general rules of the park as well as these wet weather guidelines when you ride:  Exercise extra caution on wet or muddy days and scout your ride: Single track riders: Please stay off the trails following significant rain events. Gathering at Gateway Green Recap

Sunny with temperatures in the nineties, more mountain bikes than you’ve ever seen, and more than 1,000 people coming together for the Gathering at Gateway Green presented by TriMet. The Big Dig - A Huge Success!

On February 11, 2017, more than 130 volunteers joined Friends of Gateway Green and Northwest Trail Alliance for the first Big Dig event at the Dirt Lab. The full day event allowed for major progress at the park and a huge step towards our fast-approaching Grand Opening of the bike features in the park (June 24).   Over the course of the day, volunteers beautified the park by collecting more than 30 large bags of trash, pulling more than 10,000 square feet of ivy, and liberating more than a…
