Board members Linda Robinson and Ted Gilbert tabled for Gateway Green at Metro’s annual Trail Fair, a free event—open to the public—which was held at the Oregon Convention Center on the opening day of the International Trails Symposium.
As usual, many individuals are excited about the future park at Gateway Green.
On Wednesday, Linda participated on a panel discussion titled “Trails for Diverse Communities: Planning, Design and Advocacy for All”.
Tom Archer participated in a workshop put on by the Professional Trail Builders Association: “Modern Mountain Biking Facilities Development”. This two-day workshop, led by two of the country’s leading mountain bike facility planner-designers, spent several hours at Gateway Green on Wednesday afternoon. Ross Swanson, Project Manager with Portland Parks & Recreation also participated in the workshop.
