Volunteers will gather—from 10:00 am to noon on the first Saturday of each month—for a stewardship work party at Gateway Green.
Most of these work days will focus on clean-up at the park, but some months will be devoted to invasive species control, planting, or other stewardship activities.
Gloves and hand tools will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Light snacks will also be available.
It’s important to dress for the weather and bring a filled water bottle (especially during the wet season when the drinking fountain is turned off).
We are also recruiting, at this time, people to serve on a new Stewardship Committee, which will be in charge of organizing and leading these stewardship activities. If you are interested, please complete one of FoGG’s Volunteer Interest Forms.
