Gateway Green is a new park for off-road cycling, and other outdoor recreation in East Portland. Located just east of Rocky Butte, between the I-205 and I-84 freeways, near the Gateway Transit Center. Opened in June 2017, this destination for mountain-biking, hiking, and outdoor exploration offers activities for people of all abilities.
We are working with the community to create a comprehensive park design. Efforts are underway to develop other recreational activities beyond cycling features, protect and restore natural habitat, and improve access to and within the park.
