Since 1973, Ted has been involved in the acquisition, development, renovation and/or marketing of investment real estate, including multi-family apartments, condominiums, office, retail and industrial.  Primary market area is Oregon and Washington.  He is also Founder and Chairman, HOST Development, Inc. (a non-profit developer of affordable homeownership opportunities in Portland's inner-city neighborhoods); Co-Founder and Chairman, Portland Affordable Housing Preservation Trust (a non-profit whose mission is to assist with the acquisition, rehab and management of very low-income rental housing throughout Portland); Board of Directors, Albina Community Bancorp (a community development bank); and Member, Gateway Regional Center Program Advisory Committee (a citizen-based, public/private venture to create and revitalize Portland’s only designated “Regional Center).  For recreation, Ted loves to run on the trails of Forest Park and Tryon Creek State Park.
