SOLVE IT Earth Day Clean-Up Event

The goal is to clean up the future site of the Gateway Green park, and to allow the public to explore the site. We'll focus on trash clean-up but we may do much invasive species removal as well.

Note that ODOT rules require that participants be at least 16 years old.

Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Doing so will help us know how many tools are needed, and how many refreshments!  You can register at the SOLVE website.

Directions:

-- If you take MAX, the red, blue and green lines run directly to Gateway.

-- Driving From Downtown Portland - I-84 east to Halsey St. (exit 7), keep right and follow signs to NE 99th Ave and continue to the park and ride parking structure.

-- Driving From North or South – I-205 toward I-84/Portland/Salem, take Glisan St. exit 21, south on NE Glisan St., left onto NE 99th Ave., continue south to park and ride structure.

Meeting Spot:

From park and ride head north, on foot or by bike, on the I-205 Multi-Use Path (toward Rocky Butte) about 1/4 mile, following the Friends of Gateway Green event signs.
