Friends of Gateway Green selected by WW Give!Guide

For the first time ever, Friends of Gateway Green was selected as one of the nonprofits to participate in the Willamette Week’s Give!Guide.

What’s Give!Guide? Willamette Week’s Give!Guide is an annual print and online publication intended to encourage year-end charitable giving by showcasing local nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes.

The focus is on encouraging those 35 and under to be philanthropic. But those of us well past 35, it’s an easy way to contribute to several of our favorite local nonprofits. all in one easy process.

Give!Guide offers many incentives for contributions. All donors who give at least $10 at any time during Give!Guide season earn an incentive, typically free or discounted items from local businesses. But what Give!Guide is especially known for is their “Big Give” days: predetermined days during which any donor who makes a gift of at least $10 that day has an opportunity to be chosen at random to win a special incentive prize.

Plus, FoGG is offering our own incentives to thank and encourage giving: weekly drawings and a grand prize drawing at the end of the campaign for prizes donated by The Lumberyard indoor bike park. Watch for details.

The campaign launches on Tuesday, November 3rd and runs through the end of the year.
